Ovation Fertility™ Newport Beach Provides IVF Lab Services for Our Southern California Fertility Center
The Southern California Institute for Reproductive Sciencesis now Ovation Fertility™ Newport Beach. Our lab has national accreditation from the College of American Pathologists. We also have certification from California as a Reproductive Specialty Lab and Cryopreservation Tissue Bank. We take pride in our Newport Beach fertility laboratory.
Our team feels grateful to offer our patients such a cohesive and experienced laboratory staff. Our team enjoys interacting with and educating patients on embryology and andrology issues. Based on our experience, the Ovation Fertility laboratory is one of the most progressive in California. We incorporate new procedures and findings into practice as quickly as possible, based on applied research.
In 2008, the Ovation Fertility Lab developed microSecure Vitrification.
The microSecure Vitrification procedure offers unprecedented quality control, safety, reliability and security to the cryopreservation and storage of eggs and embryos in a closed, aseptic system. Best of all, the procedure has proven to be highly successful for oocyte and blastocyst cryopreservation, with some of the highest pregnancy and live birth rates in the country.
We are a Federal / State Licensed, Certified Facility
Our Newport Beach fertility laboratory has five highly trained, experienced embryologists. Each can perform all the advanced reproductive technology (ART) we offer at the highest level of efficiency and success.
The most advanced procedures are routine to our embryologists, including:
- intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI)
- blastocyst culturing
- laser assisted hatching
- embryo biopsy
- blastocyst-trophectoderm biopsy
- vitrification
In conjunction with our standard procedures like embryo transfer, our doctors perform their transfer procedures by a transvaginal ultrasound-guided technique. This ensures optimum clarity and precise placement of an embryo in the uterus. In turn, our medical and laboratory staff are scientifically minded, highly qualified individuals who always have the best interests of the patient at heart.
