Our Endocrine & Andrology Laboratories

For the convenience of our patients, Ovation Fertility has both endocrinology and andrology laboratories

9V3A0403Our endocrinology and andrology laboratories are licensed by the state, federally certified by CLIA and functions in compliance with all CAL OSHA guidelines. Most blood hormone testing occurs at the Newport Beach office. We have results available the same day as the blood draw. Each andrology laboratory performs sperm preparations for intrauterine insemination (IUI) under the strict guidelines. The American Society for Reproductive Medicine set these guidelines, and we have further licensing as a tissue bank for sperm freezing.

In conjunction with the Ovation Fertility™ IVF laboratory, the Andrology laboratory performs a full array of male testing. This includes semen analysis, semen freezing, sperm penetration assay, sperm binding assay and immunological testing. Andrology tests occur by appointment (8-11 am daily). We usually have the results available within one to two days, depending on the test.
