Video fertility consultations make it easier to get treatment at Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine
The Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine (SCCRM) team wants to make it as convenient as possible for patients to get the care they need from us. How? With video fertility consultations. We know that due to Safe at Home practices initiated in the State of California, various counties, and other states across the U.S., our office is scheduling all New Patient Consults and Established patient consults via Telemedicine channels (Zoom, Skype, and Telephone).
What happens during a video fertility consultation?
During a video fertility consultation, you can count on receiving the same care and information that you would receive at an in-person appointment. The only difference is that you don’t have to leave your home or office, and you will not have an ultrasound
Telemedicine appointments are much like our in-person consultations
Our new patient coordinator will provide you with the details on our process upon scheduling your consultation. This includes requesting your medical records, which will allow you to make the most of your time with your fertility doctor.
During your telemedicine appointment, Dr. Anderson or Dr. Royster will review your medical and fertility history. This includes the results of any previous fertility tests or treatments. Your doctor will also review any additional diagnostic tests or procedures you will need to undergo. Finally, you’ll learn about which fertility treatments are available to you.
At SCCRM we want you to have the information you need to decide which family-building approach is best for you. Getting access to this information shouldn’t be hindered by COVID-19. Please contact us at 949 642-8727.
