Southern California Fertility Specialists

Meet Our Southern California Fertility Specialists

We proudly introduce the Southern California fertility specialists who make parenthood possible.

Robert E. Anderson, MD

139 DrA Hi ResDr. Robert Anderson is the founder and Director of the Southern California Center for Reproductive Medicine. He is also the founder and Medical Director of the Southern California Institute for Reproductive Sciences.

He has been practicing in Orange County since 1989, longer than any other Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist in Orange County.

Dr. Anderson has spent his career incorporating the latest developments in the field into clinical practice to benefit his patients. He was one of the first to routinely perform assisted hatching prior to the transfer of every embryo, which immediately doubled the pregnancy success rate of IVF at the time. He brought blastocyst culturing to the IVF laboratory when it was in its early stages leading to the first live births in Orange County from the transfer of both frozen (January 1996) and fresh (May 1999) blastocysts.
