Proposed Program Idea
Using my experience in the Washington, DC area to recruit some local speakers and my diverse background in Comparative Physiology and Embryo Technologies, I believe a post-graduate program emphasizing a “Historical Perspective on the Development and Use of ART in Animal Research, Human IVF and Wildlife Conservation: Who has Benefited from Who?” would be an interesting topic to multiple disciplines/interest groups in ASRM. The latter program will be both entertaining and highly educational, especially to young biologists and other professionals lacking the historical knowledge of how different ARTs developed and have been utilized.
